I am a very open, creative, and imaginative guy. I show alot of emotion (im man enough to be able to show some emotion lol) and am a very outgoing person. I am talkative and like to be around other people. I am easy to get along with and i do not like conflict very much unless it is needed. I am very focus and driven in my goals and my faith in Christ.

I am starting to look at interpersonal communication in my own life recently. I think about the things that are talked about in class, and i start to think about how they apply to my life and different situations that i go through. Its pretty neat. I would challenge any of you in the class to do the same thing. It can help you decifer some things that you may not understand as far as communication with other people and relationships.

I am finding that nonverbal communication is very powerfull. I have a friend who is giving methe silent treatment and it is alot worse than you would think it would be. I believe silence is the worse nonverbal communication.

Interpersonal communcication can change between two people very qucikly. A person that i was once able to talk to about any and everything is now a person that is very awkward to talk to. Things peole do and the relationships you have with that person can affect interpersonal communication greatly.

Have you ever thought about the interpersonal communication that we use every day with texting on our cell phones. It can become confusing sometimes. There are so many short cuts for words and symbols we use that we dont normally use in our every day communicating language. Today i was talking to someone who was an extremem text messenger, and i found it very hard to follow her short cuts sayings. I think that this is our changing times and that this short talk and text messenging will be the communication of the future.
